When you use Decathlon Connect, some personal data is collected to be able to offer you the best sport experience.

Providing and monitoring that experience is the sole purpose of the collection.

Identity data : it allows us to identify you in the context of the creation of your account or in case of a support procedure.
Sport activity data : it allows us to display your sport data so that you can monitor your progress.
Physiological data : it allows us to display your body data so that you can monitor your health metrics such as your weight.
Device data : it allows us to make sure your sport product is running and updated.
Usage data (analytics) : it allows us to understand how our application is used and to continually improve it.
Technical data : it allows us to technically monitor the application, detect problems and troubleshoot them.
To protect your privacy, Google has defined sensitive permissions. You will find below the sensitive permissions we are using and their purpose.
SMS and Call log permissions : it is used to display SMS and call notifications on your compatible connected product.
Location permissions : it is used to be able to detect and communicate with nearby bluetooth devices. The background permission is dedicated to provide a seamless synchronization experience with compatible connected devices, whether the application is open or not.
The data we collect is only intended to be used by Decathlon.
However, you can decide to share those data to third parties through Decathlon Hub (e.g. Strava) or integrations (Apple Health or Samsung Health).
You can ask us to consult , rectify or even delete your data by withdrawing your consent.
